November is Global Entrepreneurship Month
Global Entrepreneurship Month is the state’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare. Inspired by and building on Global Entrepreneurship Week (Nov. 18-24, 2019), Global Entrepreneurship Month is a celebration of the power of entrepreneurship, from elementary school age to senior citizens.
GEM inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. These activities, from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings, connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors—introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities.
If your organization, institution or business wants to get involved in this annual celebration of entrepreneurship, contact Lynn Longan or Susan Nielsen at the Washington State Department of Commerce for more information.
